LAKE STEVENS -- Three men were being held in the Snohomish County Jail on Monday for their alleged involvement in a home-invasion robbery in Lake Stevens last week.

Prosecutors allege the trio went to a motor home about 2 a.m. Friday where one of their ex-roommates lived.

Two of the suspects reportedly beat and robbed two people who lived at the home along E. Davies Loop Road. The third suspect served as the getaway driver.

Officers caught all three suspects, according to a police press release. They were booked for investigation of first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and second-degree assault.

One of the suspects reportedly told police the motive for the robbery was a dispute over a debt. Police believe drugs also were involved, according to the arrest report.

The suspects are in their late teens and early 20s.
