SNOHOMISH — Well, now it’s pink.
And it’s found a new home.
The giant egg has been a mystery since it started showing up at the Ricci family farm earlier this month. At first it was yellow. And then white.
Over the weekend, it was seen on another farm and appeared light blue. On Monday, the egg was pink and popped up at Harvey Field, six miles away from the Ricci farm.
Heather Harvey-Waldow saw the egg in the morning. It was laid about 300 feet south of the runway, near the intersection of Springhetti Road and Airport Way.
She invited people through her Facebook page to come over and take pictures with the egg.
“This is a cute idea. It’s fun and a light mystery that’s going on in Snohomish,” she said. “I didn’t hear anything at night. I don’t know how they got in there.”

The egg first started appearing at different locations of the Ricci farm — which operates as Bob’s Corn, Maze and Pumpkin Farm, located alongside Elliott Road — on Feb. 11.
David Ricci, grandson of owner Darrell Ricci, said it did not appear on his family’s property over the weekend. Ricci saw the egg Saturday morning at a nursery farm on Springhetti Road.
It was painted light blue that day.
Ricci said that his family is not involved in this prank.
“I wish I was,” he said.
