EDMONDS — Police are asking for help tracking down a suspect in a pharmacy robbery Wednesday night in Edmonds.
Just before 7:30 p.m., a man entered the Rite Aid at 22515 Highway 99.
He went straight to the pharmacy, grabbed a customer and demanded prescription painkillers, Edmonds police Sgt. Mark Marsh said.
The robber reportedly said, “I don’t want to hurt this guy.”
He ran away after the holdup. A police dog was unable to find him.
The robber was described as white, about 5-foot-8 and 175 pounds. He had brown hair. He wore a gray hoodie-style sweatshirt, jeans, sneakers, sunglasses and a scarf.
Anyone with information is asked to call 425-771-0212. Tipsters can be anonymous.
