Prep girls basketball: King's 41, Okanogan 40

YAKIMA -- King's freshman Daylee Hanson scored on a contested layup with one second remaining in the game as the Knights edged defending state champion Okanogan to advance to the girls basketball 1A semifinals. Hanson finished with 14 points, while Kendall Adams added eight points and nine rebounds. King's will play Brewster at 5:30 p.m. for a spot in the state championship.
