Gary Dwayne Young, 64, of Darrington, is a Level 3 sex offender.

DARRINGTON -- Police are warning neighbors about a convicted rapist now living in the Darrington area.
Gary Dwayne Young, 64, lives in the 26600 block of 469th Avenue NE, off Clear Creek Road, south of town. He is a Level 3 sex offender, the level deemed most likely to re-offend.
Because of Young's age, medical problems and years spent in prison, he is no longer under active supervision, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.
Young was convicted in 1990 of three counts of first-degree rape and second-degree assault in connection with attacks on women in their 20s.
Young is described as white, 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
