Vote for the Boys Basketball Player of the Year

Now that the season is officially over it's time to cast your vote for who is the best boys basketball player of the year. Here's the candidates (eds. note: The winner of POY and All-Area team is selected by Herald writers and editors based on first-hand observations and the results of coach and fan polls):

Terry Dawn, Arlington, G/F, Sr.
Wesco 4A North Player of the Year. Set school's all-time record for points in a career in leading Eagles to a fifth-place finish at state

Jason Todd, Jackson, G/F, Jr.
Wesco 4A South Player of the Year. Led Timberwolves to an undefeated regular season and the 4A state championship game.

Josh Hawkinson, Shorewood, P, Sr.
Wesco 3A South Co-Player of the Year. The WSU-signee helped the Thunderbirds to a second-place finish in the 3A South.

Zach Pederson, Glacier Peak, P, Sr.
Wesco 3A South Co-Player of the Year. Led the Grizzles to a 3A South championship and a state tournament berth.

Cannen Roberson, Stanwood, W, Sr.
Wesco 3A North Player of the Year. Led the Spartans to a 3A North and District 1 championship as well as a state tournament berth.

Zach Taylor, Cedarcrest, G, Sr.
Cascade Conference Most Valuable Player. Led the Red Wolves to a share of the Cascade Conference title.
