People are complaining already about the “latest” change in post office hours.
How does a working person (unless they work locally) find the time to pick up their mail? How about a working man picking up their registered mail and / or packages that require a signature?
I’ll step off my soap box and let you decide what is right for the community.
I had whipped off an email for confirmation of the opening hours and sure enough, the post office made changes without notifying the public. The hours were to be 10:30 a.m. Monday to Friday, and the time has been moved. It’s a good thing I double checked, as we dislike putting bad information out there for the public.

It’s my understanding that nothing is changing on Saturdays in any way.
Everything for Saturdays will remain exactly as they are now. I have been notified that the new Monday thru Friday hours are going to be 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM. This way, right after the window closes, the last collection will be performed on the Blue collection box, and then all of the available mail will be dispatched on the last transportation that arrives at approximately 4:00 PM. This change for the Monday thru Friday window hours will be in effect on Monday, March 11th. Please let me know if you need anything else.
Have a great weekend!
