ARLINGTON -- Police have made an arrest in a Jan. 29 stabbing in Arlington.

The stabbing happened about 11 p.m. in the 20500 block of Olympic Place, near the Safeway store, said Arlington police Cmdr. Brian DeWitt.

A group of young men got into a fight, and one man was stabbed, DeWitt said.

The man's friends took him to the emergency room, and police were called.

Investigators tracked down a suspect in Everett on Friday.

The victim, 24, from the Arlington area, is recovering from his injuries, DeWitt said.

The suspect, 18, of Everett, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault.

He posted bond late Sunday. Police continue to investigate.
