BELLINGHAM -- Jobi Wall, Cory Hutsen and David Downs combined for 59 points Friday to lead the Seattle Pacific men's basketball team to an 85-59 victory over Grand Canyon in the opening game of the NCAA Division II West Regional at Western Washington University.

The Falcons, the No. 3 seed in the region and ranked No. 2 in this week's NABC NCAA Division II national poll, improved to 26-3 with their 10th consecutive victory. They face the winner of today's opening-round contest between Cal Poly Pomona and Chico State in a semifinal contest Monday.

Wall, a forward, led SPU with 21 points, including six 3-point field goals. Downs, a guard, added 20 points and matched his season-high with 12 assists. Hutsen, a forward, came off the bench to score 18 points.

Grand Canyon, the No. 6 seed, concluded its season with a 23-8 record. Guard Joshua Lowery scored 15 points to lead the Antelopes, who shot just 37 percent (17-of-46) from the field.
