SEATTLE — King County sheriff’s detectives are investigating what led to a rolling shootout between two cars early Wednesday south of Seattle in the Boulevard Park area.
One car crashed into a tree outside a home about 1:20 a.m. and the passenger was found dead and the driver had a head wound.
Sgt. Cindi West said the wounded man is in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
West also said a gun was found in the car.
Deputies are looking for the second car.
Bullets hit at least two houses during the running gun battle. One of the houses is where the car crashed. West says one of the victims knows a resident.
