Easter devotional: The community is invited to an Easter devotional hosted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Stanwood Ward, at 10:30 a.m. today in the cultural hall of the church, 795 Ell Road. Prayer Breakfast: The 53rd annual Community Prayer Breakfast sponsored by the YMCA of Snohomish County will be held 6:45-8:30 a.m. March 29 at the Everett Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett. The nondenominational event aims to give thanks and seek guidance for the year. Retired NFL quarterback Jon Kitna will speak. Pancake breakfast: Stanwood United Methodist Church, 27128 102nd Drive NW, hosts a community pancake breakfast, 8-11 a.m. March 30, followed by a Good Friday service at noon.

Egg hunt, Snohomish: Clearview Foursquare Church’s fifth annual Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 30; the church is at 17210 Highway 9 SE, Snohomish. Egg hunt, Everett: Faith Lutheran Church, South Everett Community Center, and the View Ridge-Beverly Neighborhood Association sponsor a free community Easter egg hunt starting at 11:30 a.m. March 30. More than 1,500 eggs will be hidden with small toys, McDonald’s coupons, stickers and candy. Face-painting, balloon twister, visits from the Easter bunny and “Star Wars” characters, ice cream and snacks. Faith Lutheran is at 6708 Cady Road, Everett.
