Tulip Festival: The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival begins April 1 and runs through April 30 with driving tours, bus tours and festival events all month long. Daffodils are already in bloom, but tulips take their own time. Spring Fecal Fest: Woodland Park Zoo is offering its Zoo Doo compost and Bedspread mulch. Because its in such high demand you have submit a request by postcard or online www.zoo.org/fecalfest by March 31 to be entered into a drawing.
