Arlington battles 4A South-leading Mariner to draw

Marauders claw back from 2-0 deficit to salvage point

ARLINGTON -- Mariner rallied from 2-0 deficit to salvage a draw with Arlington in a Wesco 4A crossover match. Seigo Hall (10th minute) and Daniel Hansen (12th) gave the Eagles a quick lead, but the Maruaders immediately responded with goals from Miguel Lopez and a 25-yard free kick from Miguel Meding in the 15th minute. Danny Herarra made a goal-line clearance late in the second half to preserve a point for Arlington.

Goals--Seigo Hall (A), Daniel Hansen (A), Miguel Lopez (M), Miguel Meding (M). Assists--Name (School). Goalkeepers--Mariner: Silvan Katynsky. Arlington: Nick McDonald. Records--Mariner 5-0-1 league, 5-0-1 overall. Arlington 0-3-2, 0-4-2.
