AUBURN — A 28-year-old man accused of firing a .45-caliber handgun into the crowd outside an Auburn sports bar after seeing his friend get shot has been ordered held on $250,000 bail. Police continue to search for those responsible for killing three men and wounding a fourth.
Auburn police Cmdr. Mike Hirman said the man who appeared in court Monday is a felon who is not supposed to have a gun. He was arrested for investigation of reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The King County medical examiner’s office has not officially identified the victims in the shooting early Sunday outside the Sports Page Tavern. Hirman said it began with a dispute between two women on the dance floor.
The Seattle Times reported that police seized several guns and seven vehicles.
Hirman said there were at least two shooters and possibly four or five.
The wounded man was in serious condition at a Seattle hospital.
