In case you haven’t noticed, it’s spring.
It’s time to go outside, so the city of Everett, the Snohomish County WSU Extension and the Snohomish Conservation District teamed up to present a series of free workshops on taking care of your yard the natural way.
The first one, Natural Yard Care with Ciscoe Morris, is from 6 to 8 tonight at Everett Station, Weyerhaeuser Room, 3201 Smith Ave., Everett.
Soils, Pests and Compost, Oh My! takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. April 17 at the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave, Everett.
Choosing Plants and Lawn Care will be presented from 6 to 8 p.m. April 24 at the Everett Library.
Smart Watering: Save Water and Time! will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. May 1 at the library.
The series ends with the Rain Garden Tour from 10 to 11:30 a.m. May 4. Meet at Washington Oakes, 1717 Rockefeller Ave., Everett, to take off on this walking tour.
