NAMPA, Idaho — A southwest Idaho man who police say used a racial slur before punching another man in the face late last month on a Nampa street has been taken into custody.
Nampa police say 23-year-old Justin Gregory of Nampa was arrested Tuesday at his home. He faces a felony charge of malicious harassment.
Police say that an adult male was walking down a street when a passenger car stopped and the two men got out and one of them uttered a racial slur and punched the man in the face, inflicting minor injuries.
Police say Gregory was identified after they released a sketch to the public, and that the suspect had tattoos that included a swastika and a skull wearing a hat or helmet.
The FBI assisted in the investigation.
