WA man flees before child pornography sentence
The Spokesman-Review reports that 33-year-old Daniel L. Camp pleaded guilty last year to charges of sharing and possessing images of child pornography.
FBI senior agent Frank Harrill says Camp did not show up to the sentencing hearing Tuesday and left two notes indicating he did not want to go to jail.
Camp sold his books on Amazon.com, but his sister campaigned to have them removed.
Harrill says Camp is considered dangerous. He was armed in a previous encounter with law enforcement in 2010.
Camp had been staying at his mother's home in Spokane Valley under pretrial release conditions since 2011. He fled in his mother's car.
