There are two shows happening in Everett this Saturday you won’t want to miss. The great news is they are not even close to happening at the same time or overlapping so you can pack your Saturday with music and catch both shows if you like!
Liz Crowley, Paul Fauquet, and Travis Schulze – Silver Cup Coffee 4pm, $5
This is a benefit show being put on by students at Trinity Lutheran College to help raise money for one of their fellow students. Daniela Colorado and her family lost their home to a fire recently and this show is an effort to rally support. I have never seen a show at Silver Cup Coffee before but I expect it to be intimate and it’s for a good cause.
The Young Evils. Learning Team, Johnny Hoffman &The Residents – The Anchor 9pm, $7-$10
There is a really fantastic lineup at the Anchor this Saturday night. The Young Evils from Seattle are headlining and were just featured on RollingStone.com for the release of their video for their new song “Touch Tone Lovers.” So needless to say, this is going to be pretty awesome
Bellingham’s Learning Team is coming back to Everett fresh off the release of their new “Aporia Coda” EP, which you should go buy right now if you haven’t already. The last time Learning Team played Everett was a Tuesday night back in September and they completely blew the crowd away. I know a lot of people are really excited for a chance to see these guys again.
Everett’s own Johnny Hoffman and The Residents are going to open the show and you will want to get there early because these kids are just insane. Note sure how else to say it so just watch the video below.
Tickets are $7 if you buy in advance here or $10 at the door.
