Members able to act on their own

The left does not get it. They are spending considerable time to do anything they can to discredit the Tea Party movement and those involved.

The main criticism is, there is no leader. They have no idea what the movement is about. It is about citizens who have woken up and found those whom we have sent to do our nation’s business are incompetent and are making decisions about things they have no idea about, such as forcing businesses and financial intuitions to conduct their business a certain way, when they themselves haven’t even run a hot dog stand.

We have also found that besides their incompetence, they are only interested in one thing: being re-elected, as evidenced by the recent proposed health-care legislation. They will sacrifice their integrity and jeopardize our nation’s security to get re-elected.

Who are these citizens who participate in the Tea Party? We are people from all political points of view who are disgusted with the way those we have sent to Washington conduct our nation’s business. We gather together to gain strength, then go out and work for those candidates who most represent our views. That’s who we are! We don’t have to be led by anyone. We are able to think and act on our own. We do not need a leader. If you think about it, I think the left really knows who we are and it ought to scare the hell out of them.
