Prep baseball: Marysville Pilchuck 7, Stanwood 1

MARYSVILLE -- Marysville Pilchuck starter Alex Gray threw a three-hitter and struck out 11 and the Tomahawks offense put up five runs in the second inning to roll to a win over Stanwood. Nick Henry hit a two-run single and Jake Merrick had a two-run double in the second. With the win, Marysville Pilchuck clinched at least a share of the Wesco 3A North title.
