EVERETT — A worker at a Highway 99 construction project at south Everett was hit by a car about 1:30 a.m. Friday and the driver was arrested.
The Washington State Patrol says injuries to the worker appear minor, but she was taken to a hospital as a precaution. The woman driving the car is suspected of drunken driving.
KIRO reports the construction project is marked with orange barrels, flashing lights and flaggers.
