LAKE STEVENS — Police are asking for help identifying a man who held up a Lake Stevens bank on Friday afternoon.
The man entered the Whidbey Island Bank at Frontier Village along Highway 9 just after 3:15 p.m., according to Lake Stevens police.
He indicated he had a weapon and demanded cash. He ran away with the money. No injuries were reported.
The man wore sunglasses, a black hoodie-style sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.
He was described as white, about 5-foot-6 and in his 40s. Witnesses said he had a large nose and a medium build.
A police dog search was unsuccessful.
