Navy Seaman Simon N. Reed, son of Michael Reed of Bothell and M.J. Bruski of Friday Harbor, graduated on March 22 from Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Reed is a 2005 Bothell High School graduate.
Navy Seaman Recruit John Kim, son of Chong Sook and Ha Yong Kim of Mountlake Terrace, has been promoted to his current rank upon graduation from recruit training at Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Kim received the early promotion for outstanding performance during all phases of the training cycle. Kim is a 2012 graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School.
Army Spec. Kouadio R. Signo has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Signo is the former ward of Martial Yao of Lynnwood.
Navy Seaman Recruit Cody P. Shelton, son of Gloria and George Shelton of Oak Harbor, recently completed basic training at Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Shelton is a 2012 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
