High winds in Eastern Washington, snow in Cascades

SEATTLE -- A spring storm is making travel difficult in parts of Washington.
Chains are required on I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass Monday morning because of snow. Trooper Dan Atchison told KOMO Radio there have been a number of spinouts eastbound and a semi-truck and trailer accident westbound.
The Transportation Department banned the movement of mobile homes on I-82 from Prosser to the Oregon line because of gusty winds.
The National Weather Service issued a high wind warning for the Wenatchee area through 5 p.m. Monday. Forecasters expect 35 to 45 miles per hour winds with gusts to 60 mph possible, which could cause property damage. A wind advisory is in effect for other parts of Eastern Washington for 30 to 40 mph winds with gusts to 45.
