Six former athletes, one coach and five teams will be inducted into the Everett Community College Athletic Hall of Fame at a June 19 dinner ceremony.
The school announced its latest Hall of Fame class Monday.
The athletes being inducted are softball player Jamie Foote (2006-07), baseball and football player John Garner (1949-51), multisport athlete JoAnn Larson Timpone (1964-65), basketball player Ciara Papac (2000-02), golfer Bob Whisman (1953-55) and track athlete Cindy Yahne Peterson (1977-78).
The coach is the late Ed Puck, who was the head track coach, head golf coach and assistant football coach during his years at Everett CC, beginning in the early 1950s and continuing until his retirement in 1976.
The teams being inducted are the 1953, 1954, and 1955 golf teams, the 1959 men’s track team, and the 1960 football team.
The induction dinner is open to the public. Tickets are $50 for adults and $25 for youth. Reservations are required. For information, call 425-388-9535 by June 10.
