LYNNWOOD — Clothes for Kids is working with the city and several businesses to hold a citywide, monthlong drive to replenish its stock of clothing.
Throughout this month, several city offices along with businesses will display collection bins for new and gently used clothing. The nonprofit needs any and all clothing items for students size 4T through plus size teens. Winter coats, summer shorts, shirts, jackets and jeans are needed.
All underwear and socks along with most shoes that are distributed by Clothes For Kids are new.
The nonprofit will celebrate the the end of the campaign with a “Stuff the Truck” event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 1 at the Lynnwood Recreation Center, 18900 44th Ave W.
