MUKILTEO — A man is in his mid-70s was expected to survive after being struck by a sport utility vehicle Friday morning in Mukilteo.
It happened just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Possession Way and Southport Drive, Mukilteo police Cmdr. Charles Macklin said.
The man was walking at a crosswalk behind his wife and their dog, Macklin said.
The driver saw the wife and the dog and stopped. The driver didn’t see the man and struck him.
The man was taken to the hospital with possible broken bones and other injuries.
Lynnwood collision investigators were called to assist with the case. They remained on scene for several hours.
