Prep softball: Glacier Peak 2, Mountlake Terrace 0

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE -- Callie Bircher pitched a complete game and struck out 12 for Glacier Peak in a Wesco 3A South shutout win. Bircher also had the Grizzlies' only two hits -- including an RBI triple -- and she scored on an error for the game's other run. Rene Bos pitched all seven for Mountlake Terrace, struck out 10 and gave up just the two hits.
