TACOMA — The Pierce County prosecutor’s office has filed a second murder charge against the 69-year-old Puyallup man accused of killing his adult daughter and son.
Authorities said that in March, Michael Patrick League decided to end family troubles by killing 46-year-old Dennis League and 43-year-old Danielle Faucett while they slept in the Puyallup home they shared. Both siblings were shot through a pillow.
Faucett died the day of the shooting. Dennis League died several days later. The charges filed Friday stem from his death.
Michael Patrick League now faces two first-degree murder charges.
Charges said that after he shot his children, Michael Patrick League called 911.
Dennis League’s 6- and 7-year-old sons were also in the house while the shooting happened, but they were asleep. The elder League’s wife was also in the house. She did not hear the shooting.
