A full day of roller derby action for die-hard fans, or the merely curious, takes place today at the Everett Skate Deck. The event will be hosted by Everett’s Jet City Rollergirls of the World Flat Track Derby Association.
Skating begins at 9:30 a.m. and continues all day, with the final match starting at 7:30 p.m.
In one of the day’s feature matches, the Jet City Bombers (an all-star squad from the league’s four regular-season teams) takes on the Angel City Hollywood Starlets from Los Angeles. That showdown begins at 11:30 a.m.
Other Puget Sound-area leagues with teams on the schedule are the Rat City Rollergirls (Seattle) and the Bellingham Roller Betties (Bellingham).
All-day tickets are $30, and tickets for the two evening feature matches, the first of which begins at 5:30 p.m., are $20.
