Gay marriage

Senate bill isn't attacking anyone

In response to the Thursday letter, "Haven't we settled this issue already?": I don't see how introducing a bill, Senate Bill 5927, is "quote" attacking anyone. The issue of marriage was settled 51 percent for to 49 percent against. As a member of the group against gay marriage and voted no, I still don't approve of gay marriage. It's a moral issue with me and many other residents. We did not lose our right to our beliefs and opinions just because the marriage bill passed. Use some common sense, Life is not always fair. Some people in this state are never going to fully accept gay marriage or the gay lifestyle.
I personally plan to move out of this state because of this issue and other incompetent issues passed within the past eight years.
