What is a “feasance” anyway? State lawmakers are discussing legislation that would make it easier for citizens to recall elected officials, a process that some see as too convoluted and expensive. Currently, recalls can be sought for “malfeasance or misfeasance.”
The proposed legislation would allow recalls to be sought for reasons that don’t have to be looked up in a dictionary.

Washington state legislators immediately began rewriting their bill to allow for the recall of the NBA Board of Governors and Commissioner David Stern.

Hopping at the chance: Two Washington State University agriculture researchers, studying the crucial beer ingredient hops, have taken their research to its logical end, learning brewing techniques at a California brewery. Studying how to make beer will help the WSU team as it continues its research.
As will the keg of beer they’ve thrown in the back of their car for the trip back to Pullman.
