London ousts Saskatoon, advances to play Portland

SASKATOON, Saskatchewan -- The London Knights advanced to the semifinal of the 2013 Memorial Cup tournament with a 6-1 victory over the Saskatoon Blades in the tiebreaker game on Thursday night at Credit Union Centre.
The convincing win over the tournament's host team means the OHL Champion Knights will now face the WHL Champion Portland Winterhawks tonight. It was a solid rebound effort from the Knights, who were thrashed 9-2 by the Halifax Mooseheads in their final round robin game on Tuesday night.
