Cruise Colby
Cruzin’ to Colby makes its annual return to downtown Everett on Sunday and Monday.
About 400 classic cars are expected to roll through the streets from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. There’s a public dance from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 3105 Pine St., Everett, featuring the Wright Brothers Band. Admission is $5 per person.
The free Show ‘n’ Shine is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.
Spectators can walk among the muscle cars and chat with the owners.
Entertainment is provided by the Wright Brothers Band and Danny Vernon Illusions of Elvis. There’s an award presentation from 3 to 4 p.m.
The car club the Seattle Rod-Tiques, made up of members mostly from Snohomish and Skagit counties, has hosted Cruzin’ to Colby since 1999.
Dinner and auction: Marysville Mountain View High School plans a rib dinner and auction as its Associated Student Body fundraiser at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Cost is $15.
