Everett motorcyclist loses control, dies in crash

EVERETT — A 24-year-old Everett man was killed Sunday when he lost control of his motorcycle on eastbound Highway 526, near the Boeing plant, according to Everett police.
Witnesses told police three motorcycle drivers were riding together about 6:20 p.m. when the accident occurred. The motorcyclist who crashed appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed, witnesses said.
The two other motorcycle drivers returned to the scene and were questioned by police. Eastbound Highway 526 was closed while police investigated.
