If you ever drive Mukilteo Boulevard, you know that each summer it turns into a gorgeous display of blooming flowers near Forest Park.
It takes a lot of work to put in all those flowers, but many hands make for light work.
Volunteers of all ages are invited to help out with the annual planting on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. You can help out for as long or as little as you like.
Everett Parks and Recreation will provide the necessary equipment; just dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
To get there, catch the free shuttle at the View Ridge Plaza parking lot — west of Forest Park at the intersection of Mukilteo and Olympic boulevards and Dogwood Drive.
