The robbery was reported about 8:35 a.m. at the Tropical Tan business at 9722 Edmonds Way, Edmonds police Sgt. Don Anderson said.
A man entered the business, showed a handgun and demanded money. He left in a small, white car and drove toward 97th Avenue West. No injuries were reported.
The robber is described as white, in his late teens and about 5-foot-11 with a medium build. He had short blonde hair and wore a red baseball hat, a red plaid, short-sleeve button-down shirt and blue jeans. He was described as clean-cut.
Anyone with information should call 911 or 425-771-0212.
