Garden tour, baseball, cars and more weekend fun

Garden tour: Take a self-guided stroll through local landscapes and learn from expert gardeners during the Gardens of Merit Tour and Plant Sale. Take the tour between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and visit Everett gardens in styles ranging from English country garden to Asian meditation retreat. Visitors can shop for plants between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Evergreen Arboretum. Tickets are $10. See our story about it here.

Cars: Hit the tarmac and vote for your favorite restored classics and modern rides at the fourth annual Mukilteo Community Car Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Historic Flight Foundation. There will be food, live music and raffles. Admission is free. Find out more here.

Family fun: The Granite Falls Mountain Loop Experience will celebrate the annual reopening of the Mountain Loop Highway with family activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on Grand Avenue. Browse vendors and sidewalk sales, bounce in an all-ages bouncy house or watch an outdoor showing of “The Lorax.” Wristbands available for unlimited inflatables use. Get more information here.

Rock and Roll: Learn about sparkling crystals, magnetic rocks, fossils and earthquakes between 1 and 4 p.m. Saturday when the Pacific Science Center’s Rock and Roll exhibit visits the Snohomish Library. The event is free and intended for children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Get more information here.

Match-up: Witness the grudge match of the Jet City Rollergirls’ sixth season championship bout at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Everett Community College gym. Tickets are $10 to $15. Canned food donations accepted. Parking is free. You can buy tickets here.

Baseball and fireworks: Join the AquaSox at their first weekend homestand of the season, with a fireworks celebration following Saturday’s game against the Hillsboro Hops. Tickets start at $8. Find out more here.

Get active: Walk, jog or run during the Camano Crab Dash. The non-competitive 5K/10K is from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday and supports the Camano Center. Registration is $35. Get more information here.

Body building: The Team Gro Gladiators Classic body building contest is Saturday at the Lynnwood Convention Center. The event features guest posers and professionals. Tickets are $15 to $30. Get more information here.

For dog lovers: The all-breed AKC Agility Trial for spring and summer is today, tomorrow and Sunday at Skykomish River Park in Monroe. Entries are closed, but the event is free to viewers. Read more here.

Shop: Browse swap meet and garage sale vendors at Garagapalooza beginning 9 a.m. Saturday at the Stanwood Fairgrounds. It features clothing, furniture, gifts, jewelry and other items. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Get messy: Take the kids for a day of ooey, gooey, messy play with gak, Playdough, cloud dough, slime and goop at 15720 Main St., Mill Creek.
