EDMONDS — A 3-year-old girl was rushed to a hospital Saturday after being pulled from a pool in Edmonds.
Firefighters were called around 4:30 p.m. to a house in the 10700 block of 226th Street SW. Emergency dispatchers were told that an unconscious child had been pulled from a pool.
“No one knows how long the child had been in the water,” Snohomish County Fire District 1 spokeswoman Leslie Hynes said.
The girl wasn’t breathing and efforts to save her life were underway when paramedics arrived. The child was breathing again by the time she was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Hynes said.
An update of the child’s condition was not available Saturday night. No other details about the incident were immediately available.
