Who needs animals in the circus when there are acrobats, jugglers, dancers and aerialists climbing on silky ribbons into the sky?
The Wanderlust Circus is on its “Endless Road Tour” and making a stop on Wednesday at Historic Everett Theatre.
Good thing it’s summer because this show is worth keeping the kids up for.
The circus from Portland presents this spectacle performance with a loosely structured plot.
A Muscle Beach bad boy from the neon 1980s falls in love with the acrobatic songbird from the circus. But before he can sweep her off her feet, he must unravel the secret of the circus that never stands still, which is the Wanderlust Circus, according to press material about the show.
So the question now becomes: What blessing or curse compels William Batty and his high flying crew to forsake the comforts of home and embark on an adventure with no final act?
You will learn the answer on this, the “Endless Road Tour.”
The Wanderlust Circus opens at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. Tickets are $14.50 and $19.50. Call 425-258-6766 or go to historiceveretttheatre.org.
