ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says two small quakes Wednesday night and early Thursday morning were felt in the greater Anchorage area.
No damage was reported from either quake.
A 3.6 quake was recorded at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, centered 27 miles south-southeast of Anchorage. It was also felt in Girdwood, Eagle River and Cooper Landing.
The second quake at 3:40 a.m. Thursday was centered 8 miles north of Anchorage. It also reportedly was felt in Eagle River, Knik, and Big Lake.
