ARLINGTON — A Snohomish man who died in a crash near Arlington last week has been identified as Vernon P. Manning Jr.
Manning was 49, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
His death remains under investigation by the medical examiner’s office and the Washington State Patrol.
He died about 4 a.m. June 26 after his Ford Explorer struck a power pole on Highway 530, east of Arlington.
Troopers said his vehicle failed to make a curve and went off the roadway, striking the power pole.
