2 local hikers rescued near Snoqualmie Pass

SNOQUALMIE PASS -- Two hikers who were lost in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness near Snoqualmie Pass have been rescued.
King County sheriff's Sgt. Cindi West says the sheriff's helicopter picked them up Tuesday morning and they appear to be in good condition. They were flown to the Bandera Air Field at North Bend.
The two, 18-year-old Ricardo Perez of Edmonds and 19-year-old Brian Chim of Mukilteo, failed to return Sunday from a day hike and were reported missing by their parents.
