EVERETT — The Everett Merchants scored three runs in the seventh inning to break up a scoreless game and the Merchants went on to take Tuesday’s game 6-1 over Laces Baseball Academy.
Ty Holm and Max Whitt each hit a solo home run and Chris Osborne had an RBI single in the decisive seventh.
Nate Mullens added a two-run single an inning later to pad Everett’s lead.
Lake Stevens High School’s Branden Kelliher had a single to drive in Lace’s lone run.
