The annual benefit party for the nonprofit Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation is slated for Wednesday and features many local celebrities, gardening types and otherwise, and silent auction items.
The evening includes a Mediterranean-style dinner with wine and belly-dancing entertainment.
The celebrity list includes Harriett Bullitt, David Horsey, Ivan Doig and Tony Angell.
They will auction stays at Sleeping Lady Resort, a visit to plantsman Dan Hinkley’s home and garden, studio tours, lunch or dinner events, and other day and overnight trips,
You can also bid on rare plants that can be seen in the MsK Rare and Native Plant Nursery.
Tickets for GardenParty 2013 start at $75 and $550 for tables of eight and should be purchased by Monday.
The benefit will be held at the Shoreline Center, 18560 First Ave. NE, Shoreline.
