The Seattle Storm have waived center Nakia Sanford the team announced on Thursday.
Sanford has appeared in 15 games this season for the Storm, averaging 1.7 points and two rebounds per game.
Sanford spent the first eight years of her WNBA career with the Washington Mystics before playing two seasons with the Phoenix Mercury.
She signed with the Storm this past offseason. Sanford’s release leaves one available spot on the Storm’s roster.
