Capitol Hill Block Party showcases local, national bands

The 2013 Capitol Hill Block Party is in the books. The lineup was heavy with local bands, as always, but had big name nationals as well like The Flaming Lips, Girl Talk and Purity Ring.

Seattle band Pickwick headlined the main stage on Saturday night and local boys Hey Marseilles brought a huge mid day crowd to the main stage on Sunday.

Other local bands made a lot of noise at Capitol Hill Block Party this weekend, including The Grizzled Mighty, Learning Team, Fly Moon Royalty, Odesza, Ravenna Woods with the Seattle Rock Orchestra, The Flavy Blue and more.

Here are some great photos from the 2013 Capitol Hill Block Party.
