Kick back and relax at Whidbey music festival

The Whidbey Island Music Festival puts you in intimate venues listening to baroque and classical chamber music until you are completely relaxed and drifting off into a world of calm and beauty.
Now in its eighth season, the festival runs from Aug. 2 to 4.
This year, the festival will present three concerts of two different programs showcasing the music of Handel and Bach, and will also present a Christmas concert in December, according to press material about the festival.
The programs are as follows.
Program 1: 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. Augustine's in-the woods, Episcopal Church, 5217 S. Honeymoon Bay Road, Freeland, and 3 p.m. Sunday at Greenbank Farm, 765 Wonn Road, A 201, Greenbank.
The program will include Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 5 HWV 323 by Handel; Handel's "With Ravished ears" (from Alexander's Feast, HWV 75); Concerto Grosso Op. 2 No. 4, Francesco Saverio Geminiani; Lascia ch'io piana (from Rinaldo, HWV 7), Handel; E pur cosi tu giorno -- piangero la sorte mia (from Giulio Cesare in Egitto, HWV 17); Concerto Grosso Op. 1 No. 5 in D major, Antonio Locatelli; Let the Bright Seraphim (from Samson, HWV 57), Handel.
Program II: Bach Cantatas: Songs of Praise and Joy: 7:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Augustine's in-the-woods.
The program includes Concerto in D major for trumpet and strings, GWV 308, Christoph Graupner; Auch mit gedamften schwachen stimme, from BWV 36, Johann Sebastian Bach; Laudamus te, from the B minor mass, BWV 232; Concerto for 2 violins in d minor, BWV 1043 J.S. Bach; Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen, BWV 51, J.S. Bach;
