Benefit car show: Faith Lutheran Church of Lakewood holds its Hot August Car Show, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 10. All proceeds go to local food banks. Dental care: Free urgent dental care for adults without dental insurance will be offered 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 21 at Gold Creek Community Church, 4326 148th St. SE in Mill Creek. Stand in line the day of event, or reserve one of the limited appointment times by calling 425-312-5595. One dental service per person. Patients with the most urgent needs will be served first. Free breakfast and lunch also will be served.
