My eyes are growing tired trying to find some evidence of the “recovery” in the newspaper. Every time I read The Herald or the Times, some company is laying off people or cutting their hours. Employers are having a field day riding the backs of the employees. Where is the recovery.
And then there are the insane fuel prices, something Obama could fix with an executive order. Harry Truman nearly did this with the national railroad strike, but the strike was settled due to pressure from Truman. Why can’t Obama show some leadership in this gasoline crisis?
When gas prices come down to $2 per gallon, and business owners start hiring, then I will believe there is a recovery.
